Called Evolution, the office scheme is being developed by Strategic Sites, which is a subsidiary of Wynyard Park Ltd the company developing Wynyard Park. The offices are available on either a rental or purchase basis.
The complex offers a range of fully-fitted two-storey suites of between 1,300 and 15,506 sq ft. Featuring a contemporary design the complex is designed to offer flexible space – floors and buildings can be combined to suit specific requirements.
Strategic Sites managing director, Paul Barber said that Evolution is aimed at companies looking for brand new offices in a prime location.
“There has been a lot of interest in the scheme,” he added. “We haven’t actively started to market the offices yet and we have been pleasantly surprised by the number of enquiries we have received so far.”
The contractor appointed to construct the scheme, Carillion, started work last month and is making good progress. The offices are due for completion in June 2007.
Two interior design companies have been commissioned to prepare proposals for striking lobby and reception areas along with innovative ideas for the main office areas.
Paul Grylls, managing director of Wynyard Park, said that the Evolution development will attract even more businesses to the site.
“We are creating a dynamic new location for businesses at Wynyard Park. The offices now being built are of outstanding quality and offer a unique proposition – first-rate accommodation in an unbeatable location.”
The agents appointed to handle enquiries from prospective occupiers are Storeys ssp in Middlesbrough and King Sturge in Newcastle.

Note to Editors
Wynyard Park is a 700-acre development located at a key junction of the A19, 5 miles north of Middlesbrough.
The site was created following the amalgamation of the Wynyard One site and the neighbouring Wynyard Business Park site at the end of August 2005.
Strategic Sites was set up by the shareholders of Wynyard Park Ltd. The company will focus on developing industrial and office buildings, constructed to a particularly high standard of design and specification. It will play an important role in helping to develop the Wynyard Park site, but will also be very active throughout the North East.
It is headed by Paul Barber, formerly chief executive of Priority Sites, and aims to invest at least £30m in the North East over the next 3 years, which could lead to 1,500 new jobs.
