Evolution for Tees Valley Solicitors

The business law department of TBI Solicitors is to move into one of the newly completed Evolution suites at the prestigious 700-acre Wynyard Park business development on the A19 between Stockton and Hartlepool.

Over the past two years, TBI’s business law office has more than doubled its workload. This success has seen the team increase to a total of 26 staff, including 15 specialist lawyers, in the key business law areas of corporate transactions, commercial property, intellectual property and IT, employment, litigation and commercial contracts.

 John Walters, head of TBI’s business law department, said the 165 year old legal firm had now outgrown its current office space at Teesdale Business Park in Stockton.

 “The move is part of our continuing commitment to provide high quality support to our clients in connection with their business and private affairs,” he said.

 “Wynyard Park provides a pleasant and businesslike environment for both our clients and staff.  It is spacious, pleasant and convenient for clients to visit and also offers an additional dimension to support our staff in their commitment to TBI clients.”

He added: “We are very impressed with the overall approach taken to the development at Wynyard Park, which integrates on-site support services and facilities rather than piecemeal office construction. ”

TBI has agreed a 10 year lease for a 7,500 sq ft unit in the new Evolution scheme.  The complex, which comprises a range of contemporary style two-storey purpose-built units, is designed to offer high quality, flexible space.

Paul Barber, MD of Wynyard Park Ltd’s development arm Strategic Sites Ltd, said that being able to welcome such a prestigious new tenant was a great way to launch the new office scheme, 95% of which has been sold to investors before it is even completed.

“The first phase of the Evolution development has attracted a lot of interest and enquiries since it was originally announced and we are very pleased to have attracted a firm as well-established and highly respected as TBI Solicitors as the first signing,” he said.
