First Occupier Secured at Rotherham's Ignite @ Magna

Regeneration specialist, Strategic Sites, was granted planning permission for the South Yorkshire scheme located adjacent to the Magna Science Adventure Centre last year, and work is currently underway on site. When complete, in March this year, Ignite @ Magna will comprise 95,000 sq ft of flexible workspace. 

Bluetree Design & Print Company has purchased Unit 4 on the business park, comprising 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m) of office space. The company, with over 50 members of staff, is expanding across two locations to increase its business capacity and will dedicate the new building at Magna to digital print and finishing production.

The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) has contributed towards this scheme, with £2.2 million granted from European structural funds. The project was brought forward on behalf of Renaissance South Yorkshire; established to deliver economic transformation of the region.

Ignite @ Magna is just one of many new commercial developments taking place in South Yorkshire, as EU funding provides a catalyst for the urban regeneration that is transforming the economic and physical landscape of the area.
